Data Reference (https://data.ny.gov/Transparency/NYS-Attorney-Registrations/eqw2-r5nb)

I created this web page to demonstrate using socrata.php (available from GitHub) to access OpenData.

To begin, you need to register at the NY State OpenData site.

Next, you have to choose which dataset you want to work with. This site uses the "NY State Attorney Registrationss" dataset (eqw2-r5nb).

Next, you need to edit your profile and choose "App Tokens" and then choose "Create New Applicaton". This will result in an "App Token" that you need to provide in your code.

Now you can download my PHP/HTML Template, Socrata Vars, and Socrata Functions files to get started.
